GOING OUTSIDE FOR STUDY HALLS - We’re indoors 5 days a week from 8 AM to 3 PM. Have you ever just wanted to breathe in the open air and stretch your legs? Under us, we’ll work to make sure you can go outside on occasions so you can have fun and play games with your friends!

GETTING PHONES BACK! - This is a big one for most students. Look, we’re all aware that Mrs. Waters told us the phones will never happen again after all the chaos last Friday. Despite all that, we will negotiate for trying to get phones back on occasions!

COMPUTER PRIVILEGES - We’ve all had free time in class and had nothing to do, right? It’s boring, we know. No one wants to sit and do nothing for an extra 15-30 minutes. Considering other teacher’s rules, we will do our best to allow each of you to be able to play games, watch Netflix, and watch YouTube!

BREAK AND LUNCH MENU - Have you ever asked someone, “What’s for lunch?,” and they respond with “I don’t know”? Have you ever gone through the lunch line to get your lunch and it’s something that just doesn’t seem good? Us too. We’ll make sure we have the weekly lunch menu outside the lunchroom doors so you’re never confused as to what’s for lunch. We will also do our best to tweak the menus so you can get lunch items that will actually appeal to you. And, heck, maybe we’ll try to release long lost items (Hint, hint, OG cheese sticks?).

FAST FOOD CATERING - We could really use Chick-fil-A right now… wait, you too? Hmm, there has to be something we can do about it, right? Well guess what, guys? We CAN do something! Every few Fridays, we will put up a vote for 3 fast food places that can cater to the school! Seems like a cool thing to me, what about you?

HYDRATION STATION - Why is it so hot in Mississippi? I mean, does it really have to be 95 degrees every practice after school? Don’t y’all worry, because now, WE CAN CONTROL THE WEATHER! Just kidding, we wish. But under us, we’ll have a table set up somewhere with water and anything else you need throughout the day to make sure you are hydrated for those long, hot practices.

BATHROOM IMPROVEMENTS - Our school bathrooms are nasty. We can only speak for the boys on this one, but thanks to some of the female students in the school, we’ve received feedback and ideas on how we can improve their bathroom, too. We’ll do our best to improve the school’s bathroom conditions and make sure everyone has all the things they need. Better toilet paper, too.

SUGGESTIONS - We’re for THE PEOPLE. We want what YOU want. As you’re reading this, we more than likely haven’t named something you’re looking for. Well, thanks to this website, we have a “Contact Us” page for any suggestions you have. Don’t want to use the website? We totally understand! We’ll have a box set up in the school for you to drop your suggestions there, too!

DRESS UP DAYS - Thanks to the sixth grade class, we found our first suggestion to add. They suggested a Pajama Day, and we think that’s a perfect thing to add! Let the kids have fun! We’ll work to get dress up days on occasion - away from the dress-up Fridays from the cheerleaders and Homecoming Week!

PROMOTING A CHANGE - Not only do we want to make the school a better place for students, we also want to make the world around us better for society! Under Copeland-Waters, we will research different community service opportunities and host sign-up sheets for anyone available to help our community! We hope you’ll decide to take part in this, because from first-hand experiences, helping the community is a decision that will forever be worth it.
